ABOUT KHALIL GIBRAN

Khalil Gibran was born in 1883 in Lebanon and died at the age of 48 in his then hometown of New York. He was a Lebanese-American artist, poet and writer of the New York Pen League. He emigrated from Lebanon with his family when only young. He wrote in both English and Arabic and in the Arab world he's still regarded as a literary hero for not only his writing but also for the rebellious side that littered his works. He is the third best selling poet of all time and his works are still studied today.
