ABOUT MITCH ALBOM

Mitch Albom was born in 1958 and is a renowned American author having sold over 35 million copies of his books worldwide. He's a particular favourite here at Getinspired365 as a lot of his books contain various inspirational stories and themes that are expertly inserted. Albom began as a freelance sports journalist working for publications such as Sports Illustrated. He eventually got a column at the Detroit Free Press, and shortly after landing the job he released his first book - an autobiography of football coach of Bo Schembechler which became a New York Times bestseller. The book that really made him well-known was Tuesdays with Morrie - a book about living with a terminal disease. The book eventually was adapted to a television movie and won four Emmy awards. Albom today is still writing and has drifted into playwriting with each piece of work seemingly more successful than the last.
